I guess Dad is finally going to let loose of that land he has held on for so long. Of course he was right about it, the state eventually built that road, and now there are thousands of people driving past there every day. The exit ramp is only about a hundred yards or so from the lot and it is just about big enough for a convenience store. First I am going to get one of those cash for cars places to pick up these old cars that have been there ever since Dad bought the place. There were close to a dozen there at one point, but we managed to get rid of the ones that were not that far gone. A couple of them were in a condition where they could be saved by some person with a bit of money and a bit of know how and a lot of free time. It is about half as many of them now.
In fact I am sort of surprised that no one has stolen the things in all of that time, because even a wreck like this is worth some cash. All you need is a car hauler and a good winch to drag the things up on them. I would guess that the lot of them are probably worth something close to a couple thousand dollars in fact. A couple of pounds of scrap iron is not worth much at all, but a car weighs something in the area of a ton, depending upon whether it is a subcompact or an SUV obviously. The normal sedan is worth something around three hundred dollars, depending upon the price of scrap metal at the time that you do it and how much the vehicle happens to weigh of course.Visit Here
